Gluten and Dairy Free Choc Chip Brownies

I just needed a little chocolate fix this morning, so I threw together this quick and easy brownie recipe. It was a bit of a fluke as I made the recipe up but it worked out surprisingly well so I thought I’d share!

Ingredients

  • 100g gluten free plain flour
  • 25g cacao powder
  • 50g ground almonds
  • 100g muscovado sugar
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 100g vegan butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 50g chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 175 and grease a baking tin
  2. Sift all dry ingredients together in a bowl
  3. Add melted butter and beaten eggs
  4. Mix thoroughly
  5. Add in chocolate chips and mix
  6. Pour into tin and place in the oven for approx 15 minutes
  7. Test with a skewer and remove when it comes out clean

Turn out onto wire rack to cool before slicing, then enjoy with a nice cup of tea ☕
